THE BASICS

Same stamps. Different order.

  1. Look at the target

The small finished print is your goal. Tap or click it to enlarge it. On the web, choose a stamp in the preview to compare its outline.

  2. Press each stamp once

Stamps land in fixed positions on the 12 × 12 grid. You choose the order, not where they go. Later ink covers earlier ink wherever the stamps overlap.

  3. Match every pixel

Use all the stamps to finish. If anything is off, glowing outlines show the cells to fix. Undo a stamp or start over and try another order.

A few puzzles include lift stamps. They remove ink from their marked cells. Ink pressed after a lift can fill those cells again. The dark outline is a layer too—it does not always go first or last.

A little help when you need it

Undo, restart, or use a hint

Undo lifts your last stamp; Restart clears the attempt. Hints guide you toward a working order. You can hold up to 3 free hints, with one replenishing every 8 hours below that limit. Free hints are used before purchased hints.

Collect mastery stars

Finish without Undo or hints for 3 stars. Using Undo earns up to 2; using a hint earns 1. Replay completed levels to improve your best rating. You can revisit the tutorial from Settings.

Your collection, one chapter at a time

The first 500 levels are free, grouped into 100 chapters. Most prints use 3–5 layers. Level 500 ends the free collection with the seven-layer Celebration Cake.

Pixel Pass is a one-time purchase for Levels 501–1,000 and future Pixel Pass expansions. Level 1,000 ends with the seven-layer Rainbow Balloon. When you finish all available levels, you can replay your favorites while waiting for more.

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No. Playing and purchasing do not require Ink Order registration. Create an optional account in Settings to connect supported progress and purchases across devices, or log in if you already have one.

How is my guest save kept?

The app saves gameplay on your device. The website saves in this browser and backs up to a secure guest session when connected. Keep site data and avoid private browsing if you want to keep a guest save. An optional account helps with cross-device recovery.

What if the shop says unavailable?

That is not a request to sign in. It means the shop cannot currently offer checkout—for example, because its payment service cannot be reached. You can keep playing free levels. See Support for purchase and recovery help.
